Sat TV Ukraine News

Unread post by Trump »

Ukraine's national broadcaster has made a radical decision regarding its channel's availability. Solar Media has removed the Sonce channel from its traditional DTH broadcasts in the free-to-air (FTA) version on the Astra 4A (4.8°E) and Astra 3C (23.5°E) satellites. And it likely has no plans to return, at least anytime soon.

A radical change in Sonce's distribution. The broadcaster has abandoned the satellite. This decision appears unprecedented, given the popularity and large number of broadcasters using direct-to-home satellite television in Ukraine.

The company posted the announcement on its website.www.sonce.tvOfficial information about the termination of satellite broadcasting. For questions about continued reception, please contact your cable operator or switch to terrestrial DVB-T2 television from Zeonbud. The signal for operators is provided via IP protocol by Kosmonova Broadcast.

Viewers with a satellite receiver with Multistream functionality and T2-MI transmission support can switch to the free Sonce broadcast from the Eutelsat 9B (9°E) satellite. The broadcast is carried out in the Stream 30 stream via the NB6 transponder (12.303 GHz, pol. SR: 30000, FEC: 5/6; DVB-S2/8PSK). A total of two streams with different FTA channels are available, which are delivered as ready-made packages to terrestrial transmitters in Ukraine.

The Sonce TV channel is an entertainment channel in the Ukrainian language. The offer is selected in such a way as to stimulate positive emotions. Viewers will be able to enjoy TV series and films, as well as various comedy programs (anecdotes, funny stories, hidden camera). The broadcasts primarily feature foreign films.
